More Snow

I know, you're probably tired of pics of snow, but here's two more that I took today. It's actually sleeting now, instead of snowing, but we needed the percipitation badly. I guess it doesn't matter what way we get it, as long as we get it. :o) Pics 3 and 4. I cleaned off the car that was in the other pics (my mom's car, since mine's in the shop), so it is all snow-free.

Since I live in an upstairs apartment, I look out my window and I see a vast amount of white...It's so pretty...pictures just don't do it justice.

Happy Valentine's Day!

This was the first V-day that I actually had a sweetie. Before Roger, I've never had a boyfriend on Valentine's Day. It was a nice change. We ate chinese, went walking around the mall, and saw Underworld: Evolution (Okay, those of you that said the plot was wonky, did not pay attention to the first movie very well. The plot made sense and intertwined with the first Underworld. ::shrugs::).
-->Side note: Damn fine eye candy in this movie ::drools:: Between Selene, Michal, and Marcus....Whoo!<--
Okay, back on subject. My Loot. My daddy picked me up at work and took me to lunch at Red Robin's. Okay food, service sucked. The little box of "Choxie: Snowflakey Truffles" are from my daddy. They are yummy Belgian chocolate truffles!
The card, single rose, and box of Russell Stovers is from my love. Awww! (He told me, "DO NOT post that picture [of me]. I don't want to see it on your blog!" Oops...I just can't help myself, he's just too sessy!). Here's a pic of the inside of the card. The little pictures are on a spring, so they bounce around on the inside. ::grins::
Then a girl that I work with, Jodi, got a visit from her husband. Well, he came in with an armload of little carnations and passed them out to all the females saying, "Happy Valentine's Day." Needless to say, I got one. The little red flowers are from Jodi's husband.
So, I had a very good day. :oD

And here's the most adorable pic I've taken of them so far. Just to share.

I Have A Good Man

--Night before last I had a really strong insecure moment. Now, give me credit, I haven't had one since I got with Roger. I started feeling really insecure about myself and our relationship...I don't know why, and I'm surprized that it took this long for me to feel that way. I have them with every relationship I've ever been in, including friendships even. Usually they end up in me pushing the other person away. Well, Roger was asleep when I started having it, so I waited until last night to talk with him about it. It was hard for me to talk about because insecure things are hard to talk about, hard to put into words, and hard because you are afraid of the other person's reaction. Most guys push them off as you being silly, overreacting, and worrying for no reason.

I have to say, that Roger passed with flying colors..I told him, as best as I could, how I felt and wanted to know what he thought. He told me that he really appreciates me talking to him about it, because he knows it was hard for me. He said that my feelings are duely noted and that he will try to help with them. He also said that he wants me to feel comfortable talking to him, and not worry about it. He told me that he is really happy with me, that he believes we are doing really good, and that he loves me.

Not only did he make me feel so much better, but the insecurities went away. That has never happened...He is so good to me, how did I get so lucky? He is everything and more of what I wanted in my future partner. Now, everyone keeps asking when the wedding is. To answer that, we are taking our time, enjoying each other, and each other's company, and maybe one day we will think about getting married. But for now, we are happy with where we are. I love him, how could I not? :o)

--Oh, and since I haven't been working, I've been rather bored. I made a new toe ring, with some pretty purple beads from Stacey. I got them for my birthday/Christmas. I also fixed the other one that I had already. I made it years ago and it needed fixing up. And, I painted my toes. Here's a pic.

I've also got some more photos to share of my babies. I just can't resist!
Sugar, in my laundry basket again, the little scoundrel.
Ginger, after her surgery. She survived getting her female bits removed, awwww...She's okay though, doing alot better, not driving me crazy anymore, frisky again, and growing frantically.
The two of them together. I love those crazy cats.
And, of course, Roger. Omg, he'd kill me if he knew I posted this picture...

So, Such, and Blah

--Okay, so, since the New year, the district of Hobby Lobby decided that we weren't making enough money (1.4 billion a year just isn't enough) and that the entire district needed to cut their budget...meaning...EVERYONE's hours got cut, if not in half then more. So what have I been doing? I worked a total of 16 hours last week and this week....that amounts to 3 days a week.

Well, that would be all fine and dandy, because I had school stuff to straighten out anyways (tests to finish up, degree plans to look at, etc..), BUT I don't have my car. I am forced to borrow my mother's luxery car (and we all know how that one turned out last time I had to borrow her car, here's a reminder). So, I only drive the beast when I have to, plus it takes premium gas. I can't afford my own gas, let alone premium, and it makes me nervous as hell. Especially at night, or on narrow roads, or next to a concrete median. ::shudders::

Well, since my car is broken down, and we're not sure what's wrong with it, I don't have a lot of spending money....I reaallllly wanted to see Underworld 2 ::pouts pathetically::

--Then, such, Roger's been pretty sick for the last week and a half, so I've been mothering him, trying to make him better. I love him, and I hate to see him sick. Of course he teases me and says it's my fault because I'm usually ALWAYS sick, and now I haven't been since the shots. :oD

--Blah...I will have to change one of my answers from the tagging below..."Four Websites You Visit Daily:" Lynlee changed her journal over to a password protected one, and now I don't visit her journal at all anymore. So if you notice a lack of comment posting from me, that's why. So I guess I'll change the answer to my mail. Either Yahoo! mail, or my Cox Webmail.
