The Little Suckage of Life...

...just loves to play evil tricks on people...for the first time, since I turned 16, I am without a vehicle...My little light blue Chevy Cavalier finally bit the dust permanently. I just found out earlier today, and was so thoroughly devastated that I wasn't even coherent. Roger and I depended on that little car...and the engine finally seized up and will be more money to fix it than the whole vehicle is worth. We are very short on cash at this time, with nothing in savings of course, and can not afford to buy a new vehicle. It's a good thing I work from home...anywho, Roger has a truck, it's just more of a gas hog, and in not much better condition than my car was, so we will be desperately trying to scrounge up some cash to make payments on a newer, hopefully more dependable car.

This just has not been my month....and I'm looking even more forward to our vacation next week..it'll be the last "extra" we'll be able to indulge in before the frantic scrounging of cash happens...

In a tad bit better news, I am going to pick-up my wedding gown this coming Friday, and will be dropping off my shoes to be dyed. I'm hoping that by the time I get back from Kansas, they will be ready, and I can get some pictures posted of them and me in "my" dress. :o)

Nursery Rhymes

Here are some nursery rhymes rewritten. How many of these six do you recognize? I got 3 of them. I'll post the answers in my comments section, as to not ruin the puzzle-like question. hehehe, enjoy! :o)

1. A research team proceeded toward the apex of a natural geologic protuberance, the purpose of their expedition being the procurement of a sample of fluid hydrate of oxygen in a large vessel, the exact size of which was unspecified. One member of the team precipitantly descended, sustaining severe fractural damage to the upper cranial portion of his anatomical structure. Subsequently, the second member of the team performed a self-rotational translation oriented in the direction taken by the first member.

2. Complications arose during an investigation of dietary influence: one researcher was unable to assimilate adipose tissue and another was unable to consume tissue consisting chiefly of muscle fiber. By reciprocal arrangement between the two researchers, total consumption of the viands under consideration was achieved, thus leaving the original container of the viands devoid of contents.

3. A young male human was situated near the intersection of two supporting structural elements at right angles to each other: said subject was involved in ingesting a saccharine composition preparedin conjunction with the ritual observance of an annual fixed-day religious festival. Insertion into the saccharine composition of the opposable digit of his forelimb was followed by removal of a drupe of genus prune. Subsequently the subject made a declarative statement regarding the high quality of his character as a young male human.

4. A triumvirate of murine rodents totally devoid of ophthalmicacuity were observed in a state of rapid locomotion in pursuit of anagriculturalist's marital adjunct. Said adjunct then performed triplecaudectomy utilizing an acutely honed bladed instrument generallyused for the subdivision of edible tissue.

5. A female of the species homo sapiens was the possessor of a small immature ruminant of the genus ovis, the outer most covering of which reflected all wavelengths of visible light with a luminosity equal to that mass of naturally occurring microscopically crystalline water. Regardless of the translational pathway chosen by the homo sapien, the probability was that the aforementioned ruminant would select the same pathway.

6. A human female, extremely captious and given to opposed behavior, was questioned as to the dynamic state of her cultivated tract of land used for production of various types of flora. The tract components were enumerated as argentous tone-producing agents, a rare species of oceanic growth and pulchritudinous young females situated in a linear orientation.

A Little Catch-Up

--Yes, D, I am still alive..but barely. :o) Thank you for asking, it means a lot to me, and I mean that. I have actually been reading the books that I have been so behind on. I am now caught up with Anita. My aunt had all three books, and lent them to me. I read Incubus Dreams, Micah, and Danse Macabre.
-ID was pretty humerous, I found myself laughing more than once.
-Micah was actually kind-of nice, there was only one sexual encounter in the book...granted the book was only a little tid-bit of a few pages, but hey.
-DM was..well...somewhat dissappointing, in my opinion. A LOT of sexual encounters, no police/federal marshall work, the pregnant/not pregnant-lycanthrope/not lycanthrope stuff was just annoying. I kind-of liked the intrigue of the pregnant aspect at first, but then it just got ground into the dirt. Her pulling away from everyone and everything, and nearly killing Damian (yet again for the 100th time), Nathanial, and herself was really...out of sorts, I can't really describe it. Just overall dissappointed.
-I am also now a little more than half-way through the second Gentry, so I'm attempting to catch up with them as well. I'll let you know, hehe.

--My Wedding dress is ready for pick-up, and I'm going to make an appointment to get it sometime this week, hopefully I'll have shoes dyed and pictures to post soon.

--Roger and I are planning a trip to Kansas the 28th through the 31st of October. The 1st through the 3rd or so, we are going camping. We haven't quite decided if it's old fashioned log cabin camping-with only a wood burning stove and nothing else- or good old tent camping. I do believe we are leaning towards tent, because of the location. I'll get pictures if I think about it while we're out.

--Sorry it's been awhile, but I've been working and reading, not much else. When I get in my reading moods/spells I just don't feel like doing anything else, heh. I've also just gone through a major hurt recently, and it really truely upset my heart...so now I'm dealing with that too...anywho, I love you guys.
