Happy Halloween

I hope everyone had a fun and safe weekend. I have many pics to show off, but I will just post the links to most. I will show off the pumpkins, like I do every year, but if you want to see the rest you'll either have to visit my myspace Halloween 2008 album or click each link. Fun and festivities were had by most.

On a side note..my great uncle, who I only knew as my uncle, Larry, passed away October 29th from complications of lung cancer. He was a great man, and one that you rarely run into these days. He was one that could hold his beliefs and his religion without passing judgement onto you for not believing the same. He had a brash and harsh sense of humor, but was a man that everyone couldn't help but love. He was the type of guy that everyone liked, no matter what path you were on. He will be missed, and my heart goes out to his wife of 32 years, who was always at his side.

How do you guys *do* that with the pumpkins? I'm lucky if I can cut a straight line without chopping off my fingers.
And I'm sorry to hear about your uncle ::hugs::

Thank you! It's so much fun, and we've been doing it since my sister and I have been very young. It started, of course, with traditional pumpkin faces and my mom and dad carving them, and we just built up until we all get our own.

Thank you, it was a sad day and it just shadowed our party mood, but we will get past it. The worst things about his passing is that we didn't even know he was sick, let alone dying from lung cancer and that his wife of 32 years was alone at the hospital when he passed. He was a great man, and he is missed. *hugs*
